Architron Design Consultants Sdn Bhd was formed in Malaysia in August 1994. The Company has two directors; Frank Lee-Huat Ling and Pilar Gonzalez Herraiz (1957-2015). Both directors are graduates from the Architectural Association School in London and registered British Chartered Architects. Both had worked in renowned architectual firms in London for 9 years and in Malaysia for one year. All designs are developed by the directors who remain fully involved in the development and construction of each and every project. Architron continues its self development by involving in local & international academic works, symposiums, competitions and workshops.

Architron believes in multi disciplinary cooperation with professionals of other disciplines. This approach enables us to propose specific team to suit each project. We work in association with a selection of local professional, to be in accord with all essential standards and requirements unique to the respective localities/countries. Networking is an important part of our design process.

Architron believes in the need for concept, deriving from critical process of induction, deduction and negotiation among designers, consultants ad clients/users. Style is not our aim: style should emerge only as a consequence.

Architron explores multiplicity of needs & asperations, context & scale, making & sustainability. We harness emerging potentials and developments from specific contemporary cultures/subcultures (social, economical and political), urban landscapes and industries. We integrate physical and mental boundaries and territories; memories are as important to us a measurements. Our “Time Wall” and “Living Mural”, reflect convergence and identity among individuals, local and global communities, while our “Tokyo Bay”, “Japan Capital City”, Aomori Housing Complex”, “Taipei West Side”, “Kyoto Trilogy” and “Merdeka Park”, in tandem with our design for tables and chairs, ligh fittings and ironmongery, illustrate those territorial scale jumps.

Architron develops comprehensive solutions to specific design problems and opportunities, which includes interiors, landscape, lighting, furniture and object design. This 'total' designed environment aims to promote pleasurable habitation and interactions, individualism and community, to enhance and reflect the aspiration and identity of the client/user, and to resonate with the genius of the place.

Architron incorporates sustainability as an essential consideration in concept formation. Various projects include proportional collection of snow/rain water and solar energy, modern materials with lighter and stronger structural and insulating capacity, durability with low maintenance, and intelligent management of air conditioning and lighting.
